On January 3rd (5 days before my real birthday, January 8th), my sons, Scott and Chris, decided to celebrate my birthday at this beautiful Itlian restaurant since they both needed to get back to colleges the next day. We enjoyed the food and wine very much. So joyful to see my sons have grown up and well planned for my birthday celebration. Both of them have caring hearts and respect other people. My older son Scott told me that he liked my food very much. He used to like Pizza very much. Now, he said having too much Pizza and microwave food in college, he really missed my home cooking food. For that reason, I was so happily cooking everyday while he was home during the holiday breaks. That's what a mother for, right?
Now my kids are gone for school. But I am already starting to collect some good and healthy food recipes. So when they come home, I can cook more. Seeing them eating my food is my enjoyment.
I am thankful to have so many good friends who sent me birthday cards and messages from all over the world.
My good friend Beth never forgets to send me the B-day card for the past 16 years.
My birthday helped me get closer to my friends, old and new, from local and from far away. Thanks to facebook.
